Our lesson program is aimed at developing riders of all ages, ambitions and levels, on your horse or ours. Briarwood’s coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Our lessons range from beginner to advanced FEI levels.

Owner and resident trainer, Vera Bowman, has been teaching, training and competing in dressage and jumping for over 25 years. She is currently training her 8 year old Oldenburg gelding “Danseur” at the Prix St. George level in dressage. She and her many students have enjoyed top successes on the local, provincial and national circuits in both dressage and hunter. Vera has her CEF (Canadian Equestrian Federation) level 2 equivalent coaching certification.

 

Our stable consists of a 27 stall barn with group or individual turnout in 7 paddocks. An individualized feed program, a 70’ X 160’ bright and airy indoor arena with professional footing, a 100’ X 200’ outdoor sand ring, jumps, a heated barn with large, bright stalls, a wash stall and a heated viewing lounge round out our lovely facility. Riders can hack on our 100 acres or use the area roadways which are quiet and lightly travelled.
